The old Bronx courthouse is a gem of a building and should be respected as a whole. Whatever the building becomes it should be something that lives up to its architectural and historical importance. A health club or a store would only be a Band-aid on an important decision. If a business closes, the building is back were it was.
The answer as to what to do with the building is right in front of our faces.
It should become The Latino Museum. Tell State Senator Rubén Diaz Sr. to get right on it. Somebody call the Mayor. I am not an architect, but to protect and preserve the building's exterior, the whole building should be encased in a glass building, as the planetarium is on 81st street, in Manhattan.

A health club sounds great! But take a look at New Balance's Amory in Washington Heights opposite Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. A 1st class sports facility with after school programs.
