The Digital.NYC, a hub for the city’s tech ecosystem, will present the Bronx stop of its Five-Borough Tour, a series of public events recently announced by Mayor de Blasio to introduce New Yorkers to the project.

The Bronx event will be held next Wednesday, February 25th at 6:30pm at Per Scholas, 804 East 138th Street, 2nd Floor in Port Morris.

A panel of entrepreneurs and investors will discuss their experiences and highlight the challenges to starting a tech-based business in the Bronx Panelists include Majora Carter, co-founder of the Startup Box in Hunts Point; Pedro Torres Picón, the founder of Quotidian Ventures; Kathryn Finney, founder & managing director of DigitalUndivided; and Keith Klain: CEO, Doran Jones. Wired staff writer, Issie Lapowsky, will moderate.

The event is scheduled to run on Wednesday, Feb. 25 between 6:30 and 9 p.m.
