GreenFeen, a social enterprise and environmental consulting firm that uses HipHop to promote sustainability as a lifestyle, is actively recruiting customers for collection, carting and use of organic waste. The nonprofit, which has received Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise certification, hopes to inspire young activists in the New York City communities they live in.

The GreenFeen team will be presenting at the Green Thumb Conference on March 25th at Hostos Community College where it will provide more information about the Local Organic Collection Pilot Program it has initiated and hope to kick off in June, when it plans to engage the community to collaborate in those efforts.

To learn more about both GreenFeen and NYC Parks, please join us at 33rd Annual GreenThumb GrowTogether Conference: Sustaining Garden Legacies. Visit us at www.greenfeen.com or contact Kylie McDowell at greenfeen7@gmail.com.
