A new testing site for coronavirus opened in Morrisania on Friday. Testing is available in the parking lot of Gotham Health at 1225 Gerard Avenue. The clinic is part of NYC Health + Hospitals.
The Morrisania testing site will see patients Mondays through Saturdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Patients 65 and older with pre-existing health conditions will be tested first.
Here are the other Bronx locations where testing is being conducted:
- The parking lot at Lehman College, 250 Bedford Park Boulevard West, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Appointments can be made by calling 888-364-3065.
- Bay Plaza AMC Theater, 2210 Bartow Ave. Those wishing to be tested must call 888-364-3065 to make an appointment and must be in a vehicle. There will be no walk-ins allowed. Site hours: Monday – Sunday, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Bay Plaza Mall, 200 Baychester Ave. Call 888-364-3065 for drive-thru testing.
- Bronx hospitals permitting walk-ins testing are Lincoln Hospital, Jacobi Hospital, BronxCare, North Central Bronx and Montefiore. Call 844-692-4692.
