For 15 years, the Mott Haven Herald and Hunts Point Express have covered the South Bronx through the beginnings of a renaissance, as residents and activists have helped propel the neighborhood through tough times.

Then the pandemic happened and shook things up all over again, presenting Mott Haven and Hunts Point with their latest epic challenge.

During these years, we have met remarkable people whose efforts always prompt us to document the relentless work being done on the ground. Whenever we met one, we say to each other, ‘how is this person’s story not out there yet?’

In South Bronx Tomorrow we get the chance to tell the stories of these courageous, colorful people working their fingers to the bone to better the lives of their friends and neighbors.
