It’s a quiet primary Tuesday in precincts in the southeast Bronx. Here’s the outlook for today’s primary elections locally.
In the 14th Congressional District, Marty Dolan, a financial analyst, is running against the incumbent, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
Dolan’s policies set a stark contrast to the progressive. On his website, Dolan highlights added investment in law enforcement, steep city and state tax cuts and immigration reform.
In State Assembly primaries, incumbent Assemblywoman Amanda Septimo is being challenged by Mott Haven-based educator and real estate investor Hector Feliciano for her seat in the 84th Assembly District. On his website, Feliciano emphasizes cutting poverty through education programs.
Incumbent Rep. Ritchie Torres (D-15) does not face a primary challenge for his seat in the 15th Congressional District.
Assembly members Chantel Jackson and Kenny Burgos (D-79, D-85) are unchallenged, as are incumbent State Senators Jose M. Serrano and Luis Sepulveda (D-32, D-29).
