Three South Bronx residents were accepted to SUNY Oswego, where they will enroll as freshmen in the fall semester.
Yeily Calzado of Fox St., Megan Marcano of E. 149th St., and Roland Opoku of Timpson Place have registered at the SUNY branch on Lake Ontario in north-central New York state, where classes will begin on August 27.
Calzado attended the Theatre Arts Production Company School, and Marcano graduated from Urban Assembly School.
U.S. News named the university of 8,300 students among the “Top Public Regional Universities in the North” for 2012.” The Princeton Review and USA Today listed it among the country’s 150 best values among colleges and universities.
